Computed Tomography (CT)

NMI is pleased to announce we expanded our diagnostic imaging capabilities in August 2016 with the installation of the new Siemens SOMATOM Scope CT Scanner.

NMI is committed to safe and effective imaging. Our equipment provides you with:

  • More enhanced and detailed images
  • Low/customized radiation dose techniques
  • Greater table weight capacity
  • A more comfortable experience

Computed Tomography (CT) is an extremely fast scan (using a combination of X-rays and computers) that captures very detailed images of your organs, vascular system, abdomen and bones. A CT scan serves as a diagnostic tool that allows the radiologist to see the location, nature and extent of different diseases or abnormalities inside your body. CT scanning can be used to obtain information about organs (liver, pancreas, intestines, kidneys, adrenal glands, lungs, and heart), blood vessels, the abdomen and bones.
